ABOUT THE POSITION
We are seeking an experienced Environmental Copmliance Engineer to join our Environmental Practice Team and work on projects including wastewater discharge permits; pollution prevention and emergency response plans; preparing and submitting Tier II & Toxic Release Inventory Reports for various industrial and commercial clients; air permitting and waste characterization & biennial hazardous waste reporting.
Under the general direction of a Project Manager, this professional will primarily support the Engineering and Compliance department at Fuss and O'Neill; however, this professional will have the opportunity to work with other departments.
Position Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Civil, Environmental, or Chemical Engineering or Environmental Science
Typically requires 3-4 years of relevant, environmental engineering, experience
EIT registration is preferred
Intermediate skills in Microsoft Word and Excel, AutoCAD knowledge a plus!
Experience with environmental permitting and technical report writing
Excellent written and oral communication skills Knowledge of phased environmental investigation
Ability to travel locally approximately 40% of the time
This position will reside in our Manchester, CT office. Visa sponsorship is NOT available for this position.
