We are currently seeking an Administrative Assistant in our Manchester, CT office. This is a position for an experienced professional who is seeking an opportunity to apply their administrative skills in a dynamic, fast-paced office setting.

The Administrative Assistant will work in a team atmosphere and play a key role in supporting business development activities for the office as well as provide general administrative support to keep the day-to-day office operations running smoothly.

Other Responsibilities Include:
Assist with preparation of reports and project deliverables
Edit, proofread, and finalize reports in a timely matter
Assist with the preparation, packaging and delivery of proposals
Provide support on project work
Perform clerical duties such as filing; data entry; sorting and delivering mail; and greeting guests

Position Requirements:
Associates degree
Typically requires at least 5 years of administrative support experience
Advanced skills in Microsoft Office programs required
Experience composing various types of professional documents
Excellent organizational, prioritization, and time management skills
Outstanding oral and written communication skills
Experience in Engineering Consulting or other related industry (A/E/C) is a plus

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
